Steven Tang's passion is to mentor entrepreneurs towards success.   He has a successful track record that both investors and entrepreneurs have come to rely upon.  He has hit multiple home runs with exits between 3X to 50X ROI.

Steven has over 30 years of experience in building and advising high tech companies in the U.S., Hong Kong, and China.  He built expertise in Semiconductors and Integrated Circuits through leadership roles at National Semiconductor, Honeywell, Coolsand Semiconductor, and RDA Microelectronics.  He has worked with Buyout Teams at Mills & Partners and Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst (deals include FCI Interconnect and Viasystems).  He also served as President APAC at Viasystems and Regional Head of Amphenol, Pace Inc., and Utilux.

Previously, Steven was with Warburg Pincus, one of the leading PE funds focused on China and Taiwan investments.  Over the past 20 years, he helped a number of companies through IPOs, including Viasystems (NYSE: VG), Vital Mobile Holding (HKEx: 6133), and RDA Microelectronics (acquired for $907MM in 2014).  He was the former Chairman of Linefan Technology Holdings (HKEx: 8166) and Director of Wanji Pharmaceutical  Holdings (HKEx: 0835).  He currently serves as Executive Director of Vital Mobile Holdings, an independent Director of Greenheart Holdings (HKEx: 0094), and an Advisor and Director of a number of boards of privately held companies.

Steven served as Deputy Chairman of the China Printed Circuit Association between 2004 and 2006.  He is currently a Committee Member of both Guangzhou City CPPCC and Baiyun District CPPCC, which advise government agencies on behalf of the business community.

Steven graduated from Nottingham University, UK, with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering specializing in telecommunications and electronics.  He received an M.B.A. from Bradford University, UK, specializing in economics and forecasting.
